BootDreams generates a self-booting CDI-file that you can use in your Dreamcast. Now, it is time to compile the image using BootDreams. Your screen should now look something like this: Rename the file “SCUMMVM.bin” in the ScummVM directory to “1st_read.bin”.For LucasArts-games, you only need the Scumm.PLG file. Remove all “PLG”-files from the ScummVM directory except for the one necessary for your game. Two additional steps are important before you use BootDreams to compile the image: To do so, I need to extract the ScummVM plain files in a directory, and place the files from The Dig ISO in a subdirectory. Discjuggler, if you want to burn the CDI (it can also be run from an SD-card, but that requires that you generate a compatible image-file)Īs aforementioned, in this guide I will compile an image-file of LucasArts The Dig.
